Welcome to Hotel Lonca *** in Porto

They tell you about the adventure of the charcoal makers of the past centuries, from Niolu to Aitone, passing through the Lonca forest to Girolata, the first English and German tourists in the 19th century, to the discovery of this dazzling island of beauty of which James Boswell (friend of Pascal Paoli) had so well described the spectacular sites.

They celebrate the history of a people who are the guardians of their island and its traditions, whose souls have been shaped and nourished by the mountains.
